Personalized Mindfulness Recordings- This is an opportunity to collaborate on a guided Take a Breath recording, using the BRAVE methodology to create a new response to an old, difficult pattern or reaction. This ‘River Raft Journey’ (or choose a journey such as; Seaside Journey or Planet Journey) is designed to address an area of stress, or struggle that you are challenged with regularly. NOTE: This practice is not recommended for those in a vulnerable mental health state and/or subject to triggers.
Scripting- Scripting is an advanced Take a Breath practice with a script provided to you to then record on your phone or recording device. Basically, you are leading yourself through the steps of BRAVE. It is very powerful to hear your own voice leading your deep journey through the stages of practice. Scripting is best used after you have some experience with the 5 stages of BRAVE, and are comfortable with the process.
In-Person Presentations- For the Workplace, School, or Groups This is how Take a Breath began back in 2012! We were presenting to large classes in a school gymnasium. It went famously. After 10+ years we have the presentation and process streamlined to approximately 50-60 minutes per group. The presentation contains the introduction and orientation of the methodology, followed by multiple experiences. There are options for a continued 4-session commitment for in-depth experiences and education of the philosophy and methodology.
Remote Presentations- Since the COVID era, we revised the offering to include the ability to provide the presentation using a/v technology. The content and offering are the same as the in-person presentation. We will require a test presentation prior to the scheduled presentation to ensure sound and video are optimal.
Therapeutic Coaching- Take a Breath for Life. This is a one-on-one, or group coaching experience using the BRAVE methodology and functional support tools to create a regular practice for change. There is a 21-day commitment to this therapeutic practice to use the ‘best practices’ of Take a Breath for Change to solidify the intentions and goals we create.
Take a Breath for Change Facilitator Training- In this 20-hour weekend training you will learn the methodology and practice of Take a Breath. We will take apart each of the 5 progressive steps of BRAVE, and also understand the overarching philosophy of Assess, Adapt and Relate. You will be able to lead a 1-hour presentation of Take a Breath once complete, you will have a deeper understanding of the science of yoga nidra, and you will have unique tools for helping yourself and others.
