Build Change with Assessment, Adaptation, and Relationship

None of us can go from 0-60; from a busy, distracted mind, to a peaceful meditator. It is a process. It is not unlike training a muscle. Consistent, gradual practice and progress will build new awareness and resilience. We may see popular culture and media examples of apparent rapid transformation. But we all have a sense, and science would confirm, that real change takes time for the brain and body. For these reasons, we recommend additional tools to support you in creating lasting change.

We use a therapeutic model with 3 components, each with their tools. These are designed to support the new users, and also some advanced tools for those who have ‘graduated’ from the initial BRAVE methodology.

First is Assessment- These are specifically designed to give you a starting place. A self-inquiry to know how you are and where you are to guide you to where you are best suited to begin the Take a Breath practice. For the short and long assessments, click here.

Second is Adaptation- These are the essence of the Take a Breath for Change practices, the guided audio recordings. The adaptation recordings are represented in the 5-Days of BRAVE first, then you can go on to the Library of Recordings for longer, more specific, and even specialized recordings.

Third is Relate- These are the support tools to create communication. Change does not typically happen in a vacuum. We need connection and community to support us in our change authentically. When we use authentic communication skills with others, regarding our intentions and change, it helps solidify the brain-mapping changes we are experiencing.

Finally- The next steps as you ‘graduate’. This is the point where you are empowered in your journey. You will have established a meditative quality to your Take a Breath practice. You will be able to stay relaxed and balanced and ready to try new intentions and goals- maybe for your health, career, personal life, etc. You can now take advantage of some of the Specialized Tools and Practices to continue your Journey.
